Laptop not working

My laptop is buggered.... It still works, however the reliability has been lost, so totally doing a reinstall which wipes the hard drive too! After I will be totally careful about what I install etc in the future..... My laptop is a HP which is easy to restore to factory settings by pressing F11 when it is starting up! I am borrowing a USB drive from work, installing all important documents on that and then will be re-installing..... It will actually be good, cos I have a lot of internet related rubbish on there, so clearing it will be good indeed.
